Some of my Favorite Reads of 2009

Here is a small list of some of my favorite reads last year... enjoy

(I will only put the picture of the first book in the series up - but that doesn't mean I didn't like the others in the series, mearly because I don't want this post to go on forever...)

Dragon Rider
One-word description: Not one word, this is a great book - I loved it completely and I think that most everyone one else will to! A must Read!

But know this, these are just a few - it would take me forever to post all of them! What were some of your fav reads last year?

You have some really good books on your list! Funke, Tolkien and Calvino are great authors. I have nearly all books of Funke at home and Calvino is one of my current favourite authors.

Here are some of my favourite reads of 2009:
- Wuthering Heights (Emily Bronte)
- different pieces of Eugène Ionesco
- The Kite Runner (Khaled Hosseini) amazing!
- The Princess Bride (William Goldman) love it!
- Novecento (Alessandro Baricco)
- If on a Winter's Night a Traveller (Italo Calvino) This is such a great book! I love it!

Let me think, what were some of my favorite reads of 2009.
-Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett
Harris/This book was life changing
-The Inkheart series
-The Hobbit by J.R.R.Tolkien
-The Lord of the Rings trilogy

P.S. I love the new heading for Random Jot Downs.

I rarely ever read fiction..but it was fun looking at the covers and reading your descriptions, nevertheless :)

Woah, I read most of those last year too! lol. I heard Dragon Rider wasn't very good, but I still want to get it. After reading your review, I probably will.
