Creatively impossible

Erik Johansson, a young talented artist from Sweden, creates remarkable images by digitally modifying photographs that he took himself, this is very amazing looking what he did.

(click on any of them to see better)

(I didn't get this one at first, perhaps look at it with a different angle)

(I wanna see that/do that!)

(wouldn't that just be the life)

Would you Wear this

Real feet shoes... would you?

Monday, April 5, 2010

I've done the unthinkable (at least for myself)

So for those of you who asked to "see" the prank I decided to play for Fools day here is the post. I said I would do something radical and I did. =)

(odd picture but it was the only one that I could find in my file that you could actually see my hair)

So late, late March 31st (it was more April 1at though - after midnight), my mom and I were crowed into the kids bathroom with a box...

A box of dye.

{heh heh heh}

The next morning I woke up with - red hair... and very much startled my family (only my parents knew - dad had to OK it)

Most of you know I'm a blond, I have a kind of always-looks-dirty-blond color that slightly annoys me. But most of you don't know I was born with red locks. At birth (and for some time after) I had red curls that were really cute (I can count on one hand how many photo's we actually have and it would be 2 - bummer huh). But of course, as most baby's do I lost my hair at a (very) young age and it came back in as straight blond.

Anyway - back to what this post is about.

I prank my brothers and sister with waking up with red hair (funny thing is that they didn't even really notice until I started giving hints - it's a very natural red - and I've always had some coppery hints in my blond hair as it were).

Surprising?

Yes.

Now my only problem is that most everyone says I should keep on doing it - and I'm not too sure about that yet (who really wants to buy that stuff and have to keep up on it?)

There it is. Not totally shocking or anything but fun.

I kinda like being a red head (one of my brothers called me carrots... I suddenly feel very close to Anne Shirley - but alas I had no slate to ram on his head)

What did you do for Fools Day???

Please Share!

Now would you wear THESE! (part II)

Now most of you may remember the post I did a while back titled "Would you wear these!?!" and let us just say it was a hit. Some saying that they wouldn't ever wear them, some saying they would and my mother saying I couldn't. Mmm.

But any way - here and only here for your enjoyment for the second time are some more of those "would you wear these" questions. Please feel free to give your opinions and yes/no's.

#1. Doggie shoes...ew. Nope. That's just really gross.

#2. LOL! ...maybe. But I'm not much of a heels girl as it is (chucks forever)

#3. YES! LOL!

#4. Yes - for sure!

#5. Uhg...sure...someone dare me though...(and buy them;)

#6. *shudder* Don't know.

WELL? How about YOU!

To be continued three days from now.

Ahhgg! My house is swallowing up my stuff!

Aye, my house is swallowing my stuff up. It’s like when the dog eats dad’s slippers – only this horror house doesn’t leave behind the trail of tuffs of cotton, thread, and fabric around the hallways – this house just gulps it down without leaving a single trace. And I don’t know what sort of “exchanged” it would be willing to make for me to get back my music binder (with like 3 sheets of music - but I still need it!) My library book that I still haven’t been able to finish (seeing as I can’t find it) and my right foot work boot (which I really need, as we are starting to build and I would like to have boots that nails won’t go through (I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to pull nails out of my feet – it’s seriously horrid).

But I don’t know – are any other houses “gulping” down possessions? – Or it is it just my gosh'n'golly house?

*bother*

-Libby

PS
To you, my peeps, that I know in real life, if you find any of this stuff (my boot mostly) tell me if I left it at your house - I can't remember the last time I wore it... ={ (< my lippy-face)

Sillyness

Don't ask me why I'm feeling this way - just am! Maybe it's the charcoal on my face (in the lines like a football player-I didn’t do the black eye one =p) or the fact that I have welts and bruises all over my body (mainly my face though - funny think that there's a rule about NOT hitting faces!!!) or the wet, earthy smell and my left ear twice the size it should be, or that every time I hear a loud, rabid sound - I duck. But what’s the explanation for all of this ridiculous bliss?

An AirSoft war.

Aye yes - all is good with BBs and war... or something like that. =P
Now I think I’ll go change… and maybe a shower wouldn’t do me any more harm.

Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!
PS
Happy Birthday Will! I hope you enjoyed your party.

Have you ever Wondered...

...Why the sun lightens our hair, but darkens our skin?

Why women can't put on mascara with their mouth closed? (hehehe)

Why don't you ever see the headline 'Psychic Wins Lottery'?

Why is 'abbreviated' such a long word?

Why is it that doctors call what they do 'practice'?

Why is it that lemon juice is made with artificial flavor, and dish washing liquid made with real lemons?

Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?

Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food?

Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?

Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?

You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?!

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress? (*snorts* I found this one - sorry, had to post it!)

If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the terminal?

Edit: Watch this clip from the movie, The Widow's Might. Really funny and its with the same thyme as this post.

"It's Frezzin' Here!"

It's been Super cold here right now! It hasn't snowed really yet but last night it got down to 5.f degrees! YikeO's

This morning I took a shower then walked down our driveway to get the paper, when I got back up to the house, I felt my hair and it was frozen! It melted about 5 minutes after being inside.

What's the weather like where you are?

*fan girl scream* Boyz in the Sink!!!!!

Okay, what would we do without Veggie Tale Silly Songs?
How did our parents grow up with out them?
Maybe that's why they give me the weird look whenever I suddenly break into a Silly song, along with dance steps. I don't know!

On of my favorites is I don't have a belly button. Come on, how great are they?

Now Belly Button is a great song...but my all time favorite is...
PIZZA ANGEL!!!

What would I be with out Silly Songs? How else would I be able to walk up to some one and say, "Hi, I'm awkward!"
♪Veggie Tales!♫

Here are the lyrics for both songs, enjoy the rest of your week(I will not be posting until next week)!

♪Mr. Lunt: Baby I know your eyes see right through my disguise
Boyz: (Larry, Jimmy, Junior): And no one can deny
Mr. Lunt: Baby that I'm the one whose love is no surprise
Boyz: And he can't tell you no lie
Mr. Lunt: But there's a secret I've been hidin' I can't keep it no more
Boyz: there's this thing about himself he's never told you before
Lunt: Baby!
Chorus:
Boyz: He needs to tell you something
Mr. Lunt: I don't got a bellybutton
Oh I need to tell you something
Boyz: Have you figure it out
He don't got a bellybutton
Boyz: Bellybutton no, oh no no
Mr. Lunt: Baby please don't squeal, just tell me how you feel
Boyz: Cause his love is for real
Mr. Lunt: And if you went away, my heart would never heal
Boyz: So to you he appeals
Mr. Lunt: there's something missing in my middle and it's hard to ignore
Boyz: there's this thing about himself he's never told you before
Lunt: Baby!
Chorus
Khalil: Bellybutton!
Boyz: Uh, uh
Khalil: Bellybutton!
Boyz: Uh, uh
Khalil: You say your bellybuttons missing, there's no reason for alarm
Its a common thing for gourds, it wont do you any harm
Youre technically a fruit and with that much being said; Your umbilical equivocal is up there on your head! You could opt for a prosthetic but of course you'd have to know
It'd be covered by your shirt, but not your HMO
Khalil: Bellybutton!
Boyz: Uh, uh
Khalil: Bellybutton
Boyz: Uh, uh
Mr. Lunt: a stylish something absent from my midriffs decor
Boyz: there's this thing about himself he's never told you before
Lunt: Baby!
Boyz: He need to tell you something
Mr. Lunt: I don't got a belly button
Oh I need to tell you something
Boyz: Have you figure it out
He don't got a belly button
Boyz: Belly button no, oh no no
Lunt and Boyz: No belly button!

♫Larry: Got the munchies on the fateful night.
Around 8 o'clock. So I phoned in for a pizza for delivery
But I had a feeling something wasn't right' cause I waited for hours... no pizza

I set the table with a paper plate how would I know that it'd be late
it's taken so long, where could it be?
had a 30 minute guarantee

(chorus)
Pizza Angel please come to me
tomato sauce and cheese so gooey
Pizza Angel I’m on my knees
you're my number one pie from Sicily

Did it get lost? Did they just forget?
Should I have ordered on the internet
Ready for dinner Now I’m not so sure
I think my soda's room temperature

(chorus)

And don't forget to add my favorite anchovies!
(peas: yeah yeah yeah continue)
I was concerned for my delivery
eight little pieces of heaven for me
Can't stop thinkin'
It will make me smile
when I taste my first Chicago style
Then my heart stopped
when I heard the door

I open the door in expectation
but it was the saddest sight I ever saw
I could still smell the sweet aroma of Deep- dish goodness
But the box.
Was empty
(delivery Jimmy)
The house number was broken so I couldn't find you
I was gettin' kinda hungry
so I... ate your pizza
Sorry about that you don't need to tip me or anything
(sing)(chorus with peas echoing)
you'll live forever in my memories
(chorus with peas echoing)
I will miss you for eternity
Narrator: this has been silly songs with Larry tune in next time to hear Larry sing
Larry: I will never forget you, Pizza Angel

Yes, I am a weird kid.

NaNo WriMo plus more!

Who would have known that I would join the National Novel Writing Month!
I didn't.
I have always loved to read-which gives me the urge to make stories that others can read and enjoy like I have enjoyed other books.

I am doing the NaNo (you can find me by my nickname "Libby Lo"); I hope I finish my story-but it will not be the end of the world if I don't.

( I don't want that^ to happen!)

Yep...or at least I'm told.

Also, you may have (or not) noticed that there are 2 playlists now. The gray one is still the Random Jot Downs one but the green one on the top is mine (mine, mine, MINE!). They are not on auto start. Anyone is welcome to listen to the green one, which I have on there for me to listen while I am writing on the computer.

I like this one^

I'm the dude with the lame purple shirt.

Unfarwell!

Hiya! I'm back(but you didn't even know I was gone did you?)!

I was thinking about how I would say..."I'm back".

1) "I'm Back!"
2) "My Travels have cease!"
3) "I have returned!"
4) "My Journey has ended!"

But done of those really flowed for me. So I decided to go with Charlotte Brontë's way that she put so in her book, Jane Eyre.

"I amUnfarwell!"
(Yes I know ^this makes no sense)
Okay, she didn't say that. But she did have her characters "unopen" the door...

Strangely...I like it. =)

Comic clips of Zits

ZITS
By Jerry Scott and Jim Borgman

( You may have to click on them to see)

Here is a sort'a clip of Mr. Scott and Mr. Borgman.
{Jerry Scott and Jim BorgmanJerry Scott and Jim Borgman's popular comic "Zits", the story of a teen and his parents trying to coexist (with humorous results), debuted in 1997 and has been running strong ever since. Pulitzer Prize winner Borgman collaborated with Scott after working as a cartoonist with the Cincinnati Enquirer, while Scott continued work on his other popular comic, "Baby Blues." Both minds behind "Zits" carry on multiple projects in addition to their collaborative work, which have earned them both multiple recognitions both together and on their own. The comic is now syndicated in over 1,300 newspapers nationwide, and has won the National Cartoonists Society's top prize for Newspaper Comic Strip in both 1998 and 1999. }
