"Weeelllll - lookee here!"

Okay, so tomorrow is APRIL FOOLS DAY. A day set aside to fun pranks and jokes...
sounds like our little alleyway huh?

(from Wiki - )
Also called: All Fools' Day
Type: Christian, cutural
Significance: Practical pranks
Date: April 1
Observances: Humor

"April Fools' Day or All Fools' Day is a day celebrated in many countries on April 1. The day is marked by the commission of hoaxes and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, enemies, and neighbors, or sending them on a fool's errand, the aim of which is to embarrass the gullible. Traditionally, in some countries, such as the UK, Australia and South Africa the jokes only last until noon, and someone who plays a trick after noon is called an "April Fool".[1] Elsewhere, such as in Canada, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Russia, The Netherlands, and the U.S., the jokes last all day. The earliest recorded association between April 1 and foolishness can be found in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales (1392). Many writers suggest that the restoration of January 1 as New Year's Day the 16th century was responsible for the creation of the holiday, but this theory does not explain earlier references"

PS FROM LIB

I believe I shall do something very radical tomorrow for the day... or perhaps it'll last longer then a day... *evil laugh*
We'll have to see if I can get it so you guys can see it.

Bringing back one of the oldies

Here's one of the jokes that we posted at the very beginning of this blog - here it is again.

"Two men dressed in pilots' uniforms walk up the aisle of the aircraft. Both are wearing dark glasses, one is using a guide dog, and the other is tapping his way along the aisle with a cane.
Nervous laughter spreads through the cabin, but the men enter the cockpit the door closes, and the engines start up.
The passengers begin glancing nervously around; searching for some kind of a sign that this is just a little practical joke.

None is forthcoming.

The plane moves faster and faster down the runway, and the people sitting in the window seats realize they're headed straight for the water at the edge of the airport property.
Just as it begins to look as though the plane will plow straight into the water, panicked screams fill the cabin.
At that moment, the plane lifts smoothly into the air. The passengers relax and laugh a little sheepishly, and soon all retreat into their magazines and books, secure in the knowledge that the plane is in good hands.

Meanwhile, in the cockpit, one of the blind pilots turns to the other and says, 'You know Bob, one of these days, they're gonna scream too late and we're all gonna die!' "

Urgent Prayer Request! Please PRAY!

I am asking all bloggers to pray for a little newborn baby, whose name is PJ. This morning his parents brought him into the hospital with a bad case of jaundice, and now he is in the NICU for blood transfusions. Please, I implore you to pray hard for little PJ’s health and for peace of mind for his adoring family.

Irish Blessings

Hills as green as emeralds
Cover the countryside
Lakes as blue as sapphires -
Are Ireland's special pride
And rivers that sine like silver
Make Ireland looks so fair -
But the friendliness of her people
Is the richest treasure there.

May God bless you now and always
With the gift of Irish cheer,
So you will havea happy heart
Every day - all year!

"kiss me - I'm Irish!"
;)

The Book Tag!!!

I've seen this tag around and really liked it - a way to share and all (and not personal at all! So mawhahaha! You still don't know my deepest secret!). Thanks so much Antonia for tagging me!
The rules are to grab a book (the nearest book to you), turn to page 123, go to the fifth sentence and post the next five sentences:

Here goes!

In the last week of February 1994, the CIA was jolted by the verification of its long-held mole fears. Someone inside the agency had been directly divulging facts about the CIA's operations for years. He was Aldrich Ames, a longtime employee whose father, Carleton, had also been a CIA counterspy official in the 1950s. Fatefully, Aldrich had been one of Yurchenko's debriefers in 1985.

This is from (honestly the closest book to me) CODES, ciphers, secrets and cryptic communication by Fred B. Wrixon.

Oh, and I tag ANYONE who has ever slipped, tripped or fell in public (so you must do it if you have). =D

More from the war

This is insanely lame, it seems I can only post one video per post...other wise it simply won't upload.
So here's one... (sorry its so shaky... I was trying to step over a bunch of PBC pipes and wire)

The WAR is on!!!

...Paintball war that is. Yes, so most of you know that Jare had a birthday last week (and thank you from me ((Lib)) for wishing him so, it really made his day) and it shall now be known that it was a paintball battle.

(this is me trying to be artist....with gooey paint-balls)

So I was thinking I'll tell you how the day went (and exactly one week from the party too).

The Party started out with the friends arriving at our house around 11am, from there everyone just hung out and talked until a little later when we shared lunch (Junk Food!!!!!). From there - we (they) decided it was time to get on with the battles. So in the below pick you can see that we are picking teams.... (or something along those lines - and this is not all of us btw)

After this was done... you then get ready to go, as in picking up your gun - only to realize that it's leaking Co2... or that your hopper is not tight enough, or your gun won't shoot more then 3 inches (poor JH)... But this is totally the norm...
You just tend to be ready to stand around for a while and wait for those who's weapons are not working... and you wait and wait....

More standing around....

And them.... ATTACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The battles were great if not short. And I think everyone got hit at least twice so that counts for something right?

Here is a random video clip from the party -- more to hopefully follow

(I hope this works!)
