That,Four females under the same roof as seven males =
That the male’s choices in movies will begin to rub off them and onto the female.
You may ask why I would be writing this, or why I should know this.
Its simple, I was dutifully cleaning our library as my mother had instructed me to. I was organizing our theology books by the number of pages per chapter, the largest being 1,469. I was just beginning on the large selection of non-fiction when I was called into my mother’s large study. I founder her beautifully typing away. I knelt at her feet and asked how I could serve her.
Okay, now how many of you know what I’m talking about? I don’t even know! Here’s the real story.
I was doodling on…er-at my desk when Kei yelled that mom needed me. I went to her room where she had just put the baby down for a late nap. She asked me “What was that movie you have been wanting to watch for a while now?”
I thought for a very short second and answered “Remember The Titans!”
She stared at me a moment, and then said,
“Well it would be pretty silly watching a football movie when it would just be us girls.”
I blinked. Just us girls? Was that even possible?!
She then told me that all the boys (not including dad, Grandpa, or Gusber) were spending the night at my Mumu and Papa’s house.
She asked me again what I wanted to watch…and I didn’t know! She asked if I wanted to see any chick-flicks.
None came to mind.
“Well think on it hon.”
I left the room and went to our library(which I really did need to clean, just hadn’t done it yet).
So now I still want to watch a football movie-on a girls only night. Guess that proves my point. That guys rub off on girls and that I am defiantly a tomboy.
I don’t mind either. *wink*
But any suggestions for a movie…that doesn’t have sweaty guys running around singing and dancing to their own song?
If so tell me. I would appreciate it.
=)

PS
It really is an awesome movie.

Remember the Titans IS an awesome movie!
For suggestions,
I like the movie "Man from Snowy River" but that's sort of a guy movie too... it's actually both.
Emma is a good one. The newer one.
Love comes softly is a good one too. Defiantly a girly movie. :D there is 5 I think in the series. Some better then others. You've got mail is a good one too, there is a few words in there though. The Lake House is a pretty good one too. I think there was on 1 word in that one...

Ooo, oooh, Lake House! I think I've seen that. Its has that girl...and that guy...the dog...mailboxes.(?)
It was a long time ago that I first saw it, and I think we only watched part of it on TV.
Thanks Marissa, I'm going to look it up now!
hay, i love remember the titans!
and yet i'm running into basically the same problem as you: all the movies coming to mind are sports movies... how about... Inkheart?
Inkheart is a great movie.
Have you read the book? I think it was even better.
I was just thinking about Inkheart. I just(as in not 20 minuets ago) got a clip from the movie from Youtupe that I am going to post soon.
=)
Thank you!
Wives And Daughters is good
Interesting insight!
Ha-ha! I know what you mean! Like Connor loves hockey and now 'Miracle' is one of my favorite movies! :D
I actually JUST had a girls-only movie time and I watched Anne of Green Gables (which, BTW my brothers DO enjoy) It's one of my favorites when I'm not watch Hockey-related stuff (I LOVE hockey!)
Love and Blessings,
Cassie

Well Dragon Heart Isnt a chick flick but it is good. I am kinda tomboy to. =D I kinda like to wrestle and I love bugs(wich no one else in my family does.) =D It may seem silly but I love spiders on my hands (no posinous ones.) =D
Hehe, I have 8 brothers-I TOTALLY understand this post :)
LocaChica, 8?? THAT is so cool! Do you have any older brothers?
Jare is younger than me(not by much though), but he weighs and is a lot taller than me. Here's a picture.
He-can-pick-me-up. SCARY!!
But any way, he calls me his "kid sister"
(in secret I like it, but I won't tell him)
Saerwen, Yeah, I still wrestle with my brothers, in fact, not a month ago I...well put a hole in the wall with my knee while rough housing with them.
My mom was shocked
Next thing I know my dad is telling me that I get to learn how to repair walls. Fun!
thanks for all the movie ideas!
